Our Story - How we started selling Christian clothing
About Mountain of Blessings
Mountain of Blessings is a Christian t-shirt brand creating faith-inspired apparel for women who want simple, meaningful reminders of God’s truth woven into everyday life.
Our designs are rooted in Scripture and inspired by nature. These aren’t loud or trendy-for-a-season shirts. They’re Christian t-shirts for women who value simplicity, intentional living, and wearing their faith in a way that feels natural and personal.
In addition to t-shirts, we've got a bit of everything – clothing, accessories, and printables.
Mountain of Blessings is run by me, Carrie, but I couldn't do it without the help from my family. I'm a former middle school math teacher, turned (mostly) stay at home mom who is passionate about working from home so I can be available for my kids when they need me.
The Name:
Mountain of Blessings is located in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, near Massanutten Mountain. This mountain has a unique shape as you can from the picture above and in the logo. I can see this mountain from my house, my church, when I run my errands and when I taxi my kids. It has always been a constant reminder of just how big and awesome God is and how I need to keep HIM as the focal point of my life.
The name also comes from Genesis 12:2-3 where God tell Abraham that he has been blessed so they he can bless others. I know God has blessed me with special gifts and talents that I can use to bless you and others in my community!
How it all started:
After years of struggling to work full-time outside the home and be a full-time mom, I left teaching in 2015 I knew I'd never go back. Our family learned firsthand what it meant to live on less. With one income, tight margins, and a growing family, we trimmed expenses, simplified our lifestyle, and focused on what truly mattered.
That season taught me something important: blessing doesn’t come from having more, it comes from living with purpose.
The idea for Mountain of Blessings came years later, sparked by a simple t-shirt I saw at a fall festival. I loved the message, but I couldn’t stop thinking about how much more meaningful faith-based clothing could be — something rooted in Scripture, created with intention, and designed to quietly encourage the woman wearing it.

Giving Back:
With every purchase you make, you're helping Mountain of Blessings live out our mission all about giving back to our community, especially those little ones in need. A portion of each purchase goes straight into providing weekend meals for local elementary school with food insecurity.

Clothing may seem small, but what we wear can shape what we remember.
These shirts are meant to be quiet reminders of truth:

My hope is that every Mountain of Blessings shirt serves as encouragement not just for the woman wearing it, but for the conversations it may spark along the way.
